Lot - Norwegian Wood Klepp

Building your dream home in a mountain landscape is not easy. The rocky hills and many small streams are challenges for housebuilders, but it also has a magnetic beauty. It was common in Norway to build the houses half hidden into the hill, this gave good protection of wind and snow.

Lot - Victorian House Anno 1888

Not all sims can afford to live in huge mansions. That does not mean that their house can not be elegant. So is the case with this small city house, perfect for a young couple. Or maybe your old auntie or uncle? I'm sure they would be quite comfortable in this little villa whether it is in the beginning or towards the end of their grown up life.

Lot - Victorian House Anno 1887

We need more Victorian houses, don't you think? Here's the first of three brick houses (1885, 1886, 1887). Two of them also looks really good in a row.

Lot - Agia Sophia Orthodox Church

In some simtowns there is a community with Greek origin (like my Kefalonian neighbourhood), and where there are Greeks, there is of course at least one Greek Orthodox church. The Greek sims are very proud of their old church from the byzantine period, and they use it frequently. Obviously they go to church to pray or light a candle, but it is of course the natural center for any big, Greek, fat wedding, and the obvious place to meet at the important village- and church celebrations; the Panegyri.

Lot - Simtown Lutheran Cathedral

The protestant community in Simtown worship their old, lavish Cathedral from 1860. Of course it is mostly used for funerals and moments of grief, but many families also adore the large park surrounding the Cathedral, and use it subsequently for a nice Sunday picnic. In the church they are able to hear the Sunday preach, spend a moment of silent prayer, or just listen to some lovely church music.

Lot - Victorian House Anno 1893

All good things come in threes they say, and this goes also with the sims. This is the third of three-in-a-row city house in Victorian style (1891, 1892, 1893) . They are similar, but not identical, neither outside, nor inside. This one is suitable for a large family, or maybe a smaller family with servants. It has six bedrooms(!), but since the house is not furnished except the basics, you might choose to use some of the bedrooms for something else.

Lot - Victorian House Anno 1891

"Haven't I've seen this house before?" you might say. The answer is Yes. Or almost, anyway. This is the second of three-in-a-row city houses in Victorian style (1891, 1892, 1893). They are similar, but not identical, neither outside, nor inside. This one is suitable for a large family, or maybe a smaller family with servants. It has six bedrooms(!), but since the house is not furnished, except the basics, you might choose to use some of the bedrooms for something else. In the backyard it has an outdoor laundry and a little playground for the kids.

Sim - Saxton-Smith Family

Family could be so many things, and not only mom, dad and 2,4 children. These two sisters are as different as could be, but they love each other dearly. Even though they disagree on most things, they still care for each other and help each other in the do's and don'ts of everday life.

Lot - Victorian House Anno 1892

It is simple, and almost classic in style, but inside the lavish taste of the residents shines through! "You can't have too much of a good thing" they would say, but residents of today might disagree. Since the house is built in the middle of the city, there is not so much space for a garden, but the backyard is as cozy as could be!

Sim - Wittusen Family

What is a Victorian house without a proper family? Empty! But wait no more! The Wittusen family would love to move in to your Victorian House Anno 1894, or any other appropriate home you would want to give them.

Lot - Victorian House Anno 1894

I find the Victorian Style so attractive, and I can’t get enough of these old houses in my neighborhood. This elegant building from 1894 will easily house a family of four, even if the size is quite moderate. The large outdoor area gives the children plenty of room to play, and it even has a small fruit and vegetable garden.

Lot - Simelon Bank & Credit

Don't you find it annoying that your Sims can't get a proper mortgage when they are about to buy a new house? Well now they can! At least in a simmish way!  Just move (one of) your Simmies into the bank, make them fill out the "Motherlode-application", and in no-time their loan is disposable on their account! And the best thing: the bank has very good conditions for repayment.

Lot - Village Froya House

This old Scandinavian farmhouse has been modernized to fit the standards of a family of today. Fortunately the mother in the family is an interior designer, and knew exactly how to balance between the charming old house and a contemporary style. She has, of course, her own studio and office on the first floor.
The house would be suitable for any small family, but especially those with two boys would feel that it is perfect for them. And if anyone likes fishing, they would be thrilled to spend their afternoons by the lovely pond...

Lot - Village Hitra House

There is no luxury in this house. It is modest, but cozy and comfortable. So typical Scandinavian, don't you think? It would be the perfect home for a small family of four, preferably two girls, so that they can fully enjoy the little dolls house in the garden. Or if it is a truly Scandinavian family; the boys would enjoy the dolls house just the same, and everybody would find it perfectly okay!

Lot - Chicken Charlie's hideout

I could have named this house "Victorian", because this house is typical for that time period - but, of course, for the much less privileged. This is a very simple house. It's a bit gloomy. It is not so practical, and the lack of comfort is obvious, but more in accordance with how the average people lived in the beginning of the previous century.  Amazingly you  can find bedspace for four people here, which makes it an excellent starter house for a poor family!

Lot - Victorian House Anno 1904

This is an older upload and I don't have full description of the CC included. Download at your own risk!

This is a huge house, well suited for a family with servants - including a butler. The building is not actually Victorian in the true sense of the word, but rather Jugendstil or Art Nouveau.  I just love the architecture from around 1900 - it's so rich and playful.  It is also a challenge to build in this style in Sims 3, and it I have made some gross compromises to be honest. I hope you will enjoy it nevertheless.

This house was made for a Victorian House Contest at Anno. I made a later, more modern and simplified  version: Victorian 1899 Remake.

The Norwegian countryside had scarce resources and a harsh climate, and most houses were built in wood. Even today the Norwegians focus on protecting themselves from wind, snow and rain when they build their houses, but when you come inside their homes are warm and inviting. Flo (actually Flø in Norwegian) is a house for the young and wealthier part of Norwegians. Since it has no landscaping, no furniture and not even descent wallpaper, it is up to you to decorate it and make it a home for your family.
